Application of Organic Syntheses to Zirconocene Dichloride
The Negishi reagent (Cp2ZrBu2), derived from zirconocene dichloride, has been used for high-stereoselective and regioselective coupling reactions or cyclization. For example, polysubstituted pentacene derivatives having high carrier mobility were synthesized by using a Negishi reagent.

MOF/PCP
What is MOF/PCP (Metal-Organic Framework/Porous Coordination Polymer)?
MOF/PCP is a new porous material consisting of a regular combination of metal ions and organic compound ligands. In addition to having a vast specific surface area and regular micropores that exceed those of activated carbon and zeolite, MOF/PCP also offers a degree of design freedom which is not found in other materials. It is expected to be used in applications such as gas adsorption, storage, separation, and catalysts.
