Licensing patents to Taiwanese manufactures
Nichia has been actively licensing its intellectual properties when, by having valuable patents and valuing those patents, complementary partnership is expected.
Currently, in order to secure growing global demands to our products, and in accordance with our IP policy, we are exploring the possibilities of alliances with certain Taiwanese manufacturers, including licensing our technologies. On the other hand, we are continuing to pursue aggressive legal approach against other companies, which are manufacturing and/or using infringing products.
With its extensive intellectual property portfolio, Nichia continues to contribute to healthy growth of fair market, where intellectual properties are valued.
